He married, June 16th 1870, Florence, fourth daughter of Charles Hardy of Chilham Castle, Kent. Florence, born in 1850, died July 10th 1935 and was buried at Chawton.
Montagu George Knight died July 17th 1914 and was buried at Chawton – having had no issue he was succeeded at Chawton by his nephew, Lionel Charles Edward Knight.
