Inscription on tablet in Tilmanstone Church, Kent:–

Sacred to the Memory
of the beloved sons of
Edward Rice of Dane Court Esqre. And Elizabeth his wife
HENRY
a Captain in H.M. 72nd Highlanders,
who is buried at St. Anne's
in the Island of Barbadoes
where he died of Yellow Fever on
the 28th of Nov: 1848 aged 27 years
and
GEORGE WILLIAM
a Commander in the Royal Navy,
who being invalided from the effects of hard service
in Burmah where he was severely wounded
died at Dane Court March 18th 1853 aged 25 years
and is buried in a vault near this place.
United at the last by an humble expression of faith in
the atonement of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
They rest in one hope of the Resurrection to Life Eternal.
Also of
ARTHUR
an Ensign in the 72nd Highlanders,
who died at Aberdeen (where he is buried)
5th of March 1862 aged 23.
