Completed his education in Dresden (with his brother, Edward)
Married, February 7th 1837, Hilare, Countess Nelson – widow of the 1st Earl Nelson. She was the third daughter of Admiral Sir Robert Barlow G.C.B. R.N. and married, first, her cousin Captain George Ulric Barlow – who died in 1824. She married, secondly, March 26th 1829, the Rev. William Nelson D.D. 2nd Baron and 1st Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and Merton, brother of Horatio Nelson. He died in 1835.
She died December 22nd 1857.
George Thomas Knight died in 1867, having had no issue.
