Fanny Catherine Knight, eldest daughter of Edward Knight (né Austen) of Godmersham Park, Kent, married, in 1820, Sir Edward Knatchbull, 9th Baronet, of Mersham Hatch, Kent: M.P. P.C. Paymaster to the Forces – a widower with six children (one of whom, Mary Dorothea, married, in 1826, Fanny's brother, Edward Knight.)
Sir Edward Knatchbull died May 24th 1849.
